Cenu za výjimečný výkon(Outstanding Performance Award)vyrobil oddaný a dlouholetý podporovatelem festivalu Fringe, keramik Dave Fry, přední britský hrnčíř z Newcastle nad Týnem ze Severní Anglie. Jeho práce je vyhledávána sběrateli z celého světa. Jeho pracovní metoda a podstata vypalování předmětů v peci zaručuje, že každý výrobek je unikátní a originální. Jeho práce je inspirována starověkou glazurou a procedurou používanou ve starověku v Japonsku a Číně, kde k výrobě používali vysoké kamenné pece, výrobky tak mohou být používány a milovány dlouhé roky. An annual award to the company, chosen by an anonymous and independent panel to the artist or company whose production is deemed creatively exceptional by majority vote – open to all companies.
Inspirativni cena (Inspiration Award)
An annual award, chosen by an anonymous and independent panel to a piece of work that has been staged on a world platform no more than twice previously. If you are eligible for this award please let us know by e-mail to info@fringe.cz.
Cena za vyjimecne predstaveni (Outstanding Performance Award)
An award for the artist who has excelled in their performance at the festival.
Spirit of the Fringe
This award is awarded in exceptional circumstances to an individual or company who has truly embraced the spirit of the festival; it is not exclusively a creative award although can be such and will be awarded by festival directors on an occasional basis.
The 2012 Kreativni cena (Creative Award) has been donated by Fringe stalwart and long time supporter of the event, ceramicist Dave Fry, one of Britain's leading studio potters, based in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North of England. The best pieces of his work being highly saught after by collectors from around the World. His method of working and the nature of the kiln firing makes every piece produced a unique and original work. Dave’s work is inspired by ancient glazes and ideas of the early ceramics from Japan, China and Korea and is produced in high fired stone wear; the works can be used and loved for many years.

Spirit of the Fringe Award
This year the spirit of the Fringe is awarded to Gordon Duffy-McGhie and the students and former students of Middlesbrough College. They not only performed 4 shows this year but also showed boundless support for their fellow performers, energy and enthusiasm for the whole festival and were great ambassadors for their home town of Middlesbrough in Czech Republic.
